Description

A part of the Pistachio family, Mastic Gum has a long history of at least 2,400 years with references in the Bible and stories of its use as a gum where it gets its name. When chewed the hard resin drops turn white and have a thick gum consistency. Mastic has been used medicinally to help with digestive issues, oral health, and as a medicinal balm. Mastic Gum, like Frankincense Resin, was once worth more than gold. Our Mastic Gum Resin is thick with a resinous aroma that blends well with strong spicy smelling oils particularly Cinnamon Bark and Clove.*

Uses

Blend with other oils or resins and use aromatically or topically

Use to help with oral health alongside toothpaste and in digestive health

Use topically in creams to promote healthy skin and healthy rejuvenation 

Diffuse for a warming and grounding effect

Topically: Dilute 1-3 drops and add to area of choice

Internally: Add 1-2 drops in 8 oz of water, or in empty capsule

Aromatically: Diffuse 4-7 drops in diffuser

Settling may occur, shake before use.
