Description
Ylang Ylang is one of the most sought after scents in the world. Used in perfumery and in many skincare products Ylang Ylang is often called the “Flower of Flowers”. It has an aroma similar to Jasmine, with a very characteristic floral scent and personality. There are four different kinds of Ylang Ylang oil that come from the distillation process. Mehlora's Ylang Ylang is the most potent and aromatic of the versions and is the first "round" of distillation. Many companies use the "complete" which is less aromatic and more cost effective for them. It has been used for its calming and balancing effect along with protective properties. It has reportedly been used as an aphrodisiac and is found in some of the most expensive perfumes in the world.*
Uses
Add to bath for a relaxing spa-like experience
Use alone as perfume or create your own with other oils
Use in hair and skincare routines for a beautifying effect
Diffuse for a calming and restorative effect
Internally: Add 1-2 drops in 8 oz of water, or in empty capsule
Topically: Dilute 1-3 drops and add to area of choice
Aromatically: Diffuse 4-7 drops in diffuser
