Description
Lemon oil has a bright citrusy scent that uplifts and encourages. Thought to have originally come from India, Lemon Oil has a purifying and cleansing effect on the environment and works as a wonderful household cleaning aid. It is one of the universally used essential oils due to its wide range of uses and its classic lemon aroma. Try using it in your own blends, health regimine, or in your cleaning routine. Diffuse it to lighten the feel of a room or put it in your water* as a great refresher. Lemon may also support the immune system and is a source of antioxidants.*
Uses
Put 5-7 drops in a diffuser to bring the scent of lemon to your favorite space
Add a drop or two to 4 or more ounces of water as a great refreshing drink
In a capsule add a few drops for immune support
Use in your favorite recipes that require lemon for a true lemon flavor
On a cloth add 3-5 drops and wipe dirty surfaces to help keep them clean
Internally: Add 1-2 drops in 8 oz of water, or in empty capsule
Topically: Dilute 1-3 drops and add to area of choice
Aromatically: Diffuse 4-7 drops in diffuser
Caution
When using topically, avoid direct sunlight for at least 12 hours, citrus oils may increase skin sensitivity to UV light. Keep out of reach of children. Possible skin sensitivity. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, always consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and other sensitive areas. Dilute for topical or internal use.
