Lavender

Description

Lavender is one of the most versatile oils and part of the mint family. It has been used for centuries to help with infections, allergies, insomnia, and to calm anxious minds. The base of the name “lavera”  which means “to wash” comes from its use in bathing by the Romans. Lavender is a calming and soothing oil with a very pleasant floral smell. Not only is it a beautifully calming oil, but it works wonders on the skin. Some have even called it the Mother of Essential Oils. Put it in a bath for a relaxing soak, use topically to help with blemishes and improve skin health, or put a few drops on your pillow to help ease you into a restful night of sleep.*

Uses

Put 5-7 Drops in a diffuser to bring a quiet and serene smell to any space

Add 1-2 drops in a capsule and take to help reduce anxious feelings

Place a few drops on your pillow, neck, or the bottom of your feet to help promote restful sleep

Use topically to help skin irritations

Internally: Add 1-2 drops in 8 oz of water, or in empty capsule

Topically: Dilute 1-3 drops and add to area of choice

Aromatically: Diffuse 4-7 drops in diffuser
